Here's the latest batch. More of kids with hats (Paula's favorite), a photo of Elva being interviewed by a very enthusiastic man (anyone know what that was for?), and teepees! Enjoy. And don't forget to follow the Camp Radford link in yesterday's post.

That pic of Dad (Paul Sr.) on the slide is with Bob Schwartz and me about 1929 or 1930.
Bob was the son of Genevieve and Jimmy Schwartz. Genevieve had passed away shortly after Bob's birth and Jimmy sort of left the scene and Grandmother (Elva) raised Bob until he was 18 or 19. He was one of the grandchildren and homeless people she raised in addition to her own dozen!
Bob was roughly the same age as Jim Kemp, Oscars only son, who married his wife, Grace, at the same time Bob married his first wife in 1935 or 36 (approx). I met them for the first time at a huge family reunion/picnic at the Uplifters Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains in about 1934 or so. Gosh, they were goodlooking women to my very young eye.
